Lisp for Success

InfoQ.com informed us yet another success story about Lisp usage to make open source web based IT administration tool, Paragent. Tim Ritchey, CTO of Paragent said,
"True to the promises, we were able to develop and launch the first version of Paragent in record time with a limited budget."
Furthermore, Time explained that initially the were concerned about limited availability of libraries. That concern turned out to be non issue because, on most cases, needed libraries have already been available, and they can import others using Common Lisp's "very good" foreign library interfaces. Fact that many of the libraries is built by individuals, rather than team, actually doesn't mean they have low quality. In fact
"...even though they may seem understaffed and rarely updated, are actually quite stable and productive..."
InfoQ concluded the news, saying that experienced developers understand that among all techological choices, language choice affects most for success. Therefore, every team that have commitment to agile priciples might at least take Common Lisp as an alternative.
