Ministry of Agriculture: Study of Subsidy Distribution for Farmers
Summary
Client: Ministry of Agriculture
Subject: Study of Subsidy Distribution for Farmers

By Technology: IT Architecture Design
By Industry: Public Service
The Ministry of Agriculture is researching for new methods in distributing subsidies to farmers. The current mechanism is not sufficient to reach its purpose which is helping farmers to increase their harvest.
For that reason a study of subsidy distribution methods is initiated to reveal problems in the current method and to find alternatives for better methods. This study should be supported with simulation involving relevant data. Bening was assigned to help the Ministry of Agriculture to develop the simulation.
Business Challenge
Developing a simulation is not a simple job especially if it involves process and data unfamiliar to the developer. As a solution developer capable of embracing new things, Bening is able to face this challenge by conducting relevant survey and field research.
How We Helped
We start by analyzing relevant process and data in the current method for subsidy distribution through survey and field research. The development of the simulation is strictly based on actual finding from relevant process and data.
The simulation helps the Ministry of Agriculture to have a more comprehensive view about the process and data involved in the distribution. That information enables the Ministry of Agriculture to locate the weaknesses of the current distribution method and the solution for each of that weaknesses.
Technology Involved
Bening used these set of technologies to accomplish the project.
Software:
PowerSim, Logware
Hardware:
No specific hardware is required for this solution.
