PT Tasya Gaya Pesona (Tasya) is a retail company that have some stores. Tasya choose Bening to develop it's specific Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Point of Sales (POS) Application which can communicate effectively to achieve high performance business.

Through innovative thinking, Bening helps the clients to understand the financial services landscape—what it looks like, what it's going to look like, and what they need to do to succeed in it.

Business Challenge

Create ERP as central of business process which can perform functions below:

1. Master Data Management: definition of Products, suppliers, and also effective communication with POS application
2. Procurement Management: purchasing process until Tasya can pay invoice sent by supplier
3. Warehouse Management: stock opname, mutation, stock monitoring
4. Simple Customer Management: definition of group customer to perform analyze sales report with customers dimension.
5. Sales Management: receive sales transactions document from store which performed by POS
Reporting from processes happened in procurement management, warehouse management, and sales management with spesific dimensional

Create POS to used in each stores which can perform functions below:

1. Master Data Management: retrieve master data from ERP (customer, product)
2. Warehouse Management: processing mutation process, stock opname which datas will be sent to the head office
3. Store Management: manage special needs for store like storage bin, PIC of products, etc
4. Sales Management: record sales transaction and send record to head office (ERP)
5. Reporting: report sales transaction and stock condition

How We Helped

Bening use Openbravo as the basic for ERP and POS application. Then, Bening is going to do these steps below:

1. Get requirements by analyze the company business process to find out what requirements of Tasya that can not fulfilled by Openbravo.
2. Fulfill all requirements with doing modification and extension in existing Openbravo
3. Conduct testing
4. Implement application in Tasya head office and each stores of Tasya

PostgreSQL 8.2, Openbravo ERP, Openbravo POS, Java SDK 1.5, Java SDK 1.6, Pentaho BI, Apache Tomcat 5.* or higher.
